Sunset Sonnet With my back to the sunset, I look for tomorrow and look for the peace in between. I seem to need more than the wind can release. Listening closely for the roar, but the quiet will not cease. Darkness conceals the seagulls’ soar as it descends piece by piece. Tsawwassen sparkles on the shore, Slowly evening does implore, to figure, answer, and to dance, caught in a twilight ferry trance – Grip the rail, then touch the ground, do not forget the silence sound.
