“Abbie” (1995-1995)
Here, in form of nascent tree,
Rests our stillborn legatee,
Whom some lax power did deny
To grant a single, loving cry.
Now pray you, who succeed us here,
Succor our memento dear
And lend this tree attentive care
As you might a fledgling rare.
