Clarity By Eris Cardin

Clarity

Through my glasses the world becomes as perfect as a picture

and blurs of color coalesce to form a clear-cut structure

I see the shadows of the moon become as clear as sketches

and the stars become pinpoints instead of muddled flashes

but most of all I am amazed by the intricacy of trees

a sketch of fine precision and not the ambiguity of dreams

and I stop and admire the thousand clear-cut leaves

all layered atop each other, but luscious and distinct
