Two Poems By Sanjeev Sethi

Mixed Bag

Beaucoup palpations
made valuable
in my think tank.
Dipsosis needs to be doused:
to keep it à cheval.
This seems off base
in a generation when orgasm
has a public face. Minutia
and images of lover are laid out.

A few hours later
epiphanies on the twilight zone:
suck face and solace.
Nival

In wintertime:
cast my heart
as your hibernaculum.
Notion of breathing:
blood-warm drafts sacralize
our deduction.

Pronounced ego, blunted
by egret’s refusal to bow
to whims of your 35mm.
I posed in affectations
of your art. I glean retrofitting
is an ongoing process.

Passengers all:
let magnanimity
mow the meadow.
