SONG ABOUT NOBODY BY Sandeep Mangat

Song about nobody

That day she seemed 10 feet tall in her white Moncler jacket
With her teeth she tore the top off a Splenda sweetener packet
She only drank decaf with a splash of regular milk
She had the sophisticated tastes of the people of her ilk

I fell in love with the way she wore her white Moncler jacket
She walked proud like a bird, but I knew I couldn’t hack it
She’d come by the coffee shop to have her daily work lunches
Words poured out her mouth like fragrant flower bunches

My very life could not pay for her white Moncler jacket
It hid a truth about all people and no doubt could ever crack it
Not to mention all the stock tips and the crafty tax break schemes
That are hidden in the threads they sew into Moncler seams

I wonder how my life would be different with a white Moncler jacket
Just wearing it I would jump up at least a couple income brackets
I’d take walks in the snow with a certain peace of mind
I’d say, “what’s a little bit of money when you can try to be a little kind?”
