CASINO BEFORE DAWN By Kenneth Pobo

CASINO BEFORE DAWN

A dead fly on the piano, no one
playing.  Weary wanderers hunt for fun,

dollar bills like security guards who
are almost ready to fall asleep, new

moon bumping against cars in a garage,
greed on a gear shift, morning a mirage.

Kenneth Pobo has a new book out from Assure Press called Uneven Steven.  His work has appeared in: Nimrod, Mudish, Hawaii Review, The Queer South Anthology, and elsewhere.
