Rotary Phone By Amanda Tumminaro

Rotary Phone

The seasickness motion
is like that of carnival teacups.
With each slither of a number,
I am closer to accomplishment.

Each hole is a phantom of a noose
around a miniature neck.

The box is panther in color,
no sunlight can sneak by
the guard on the patrol,
and indecision is an insignia.

Amanda Tumminaro lives in the US with her loving family and cat. She has been published in The Scriblerus, Ginger Collect, and Hot Metal Bridge, among others. Her first chapbook – “The Flying Onion” – was published by The Paragon Press in 2018. In her freetime she enjoys reading Dostoevsky and psychology books, spending time with family, and listening to rock ‘n roll.
