A Thanksgiving Prayer
For falling leaves,
And brilliant eves,
And longer sleeves,
And Autumn's gourd;
For air that's cold,
And colors bold,
Red, orange, gold,
Upon the sward;
For food to eat,
Reunions sweet,
And friends to greet,
Around the board;
For family dear,
Both far and near,
Good health and cheer,
We thank Thee, Lord.
